  2. QUESTION:
Where to get free stuff such as iphones, ipods, laptops and more?
Freebie Jeebies is the best website to get free stuff...and it is not a scam! But how can someone give away ipods, macbooks, cellphones and more? where's the catch? the truth is, there's no catch!
Freebie Jeebies is actually a perfect example of "affiliate marketing". Wikipedia has described affiliate marketing as ‘an internet based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each customer brought about by the affiliate marketing efforts.’ This is how it works:
1)You sign up to Freebie Jeebies. You register your details so Freebie Jeebies knows where to send your gift. You details are protected by the DPA.
    2)You complete one offer.
3)The offer company pays a commission to Freebie Jeebies.
4)You get 9 or your friends to sign up to Freebie Jeebies via your unique referral number.
5)The offer company now has 10 potential new customers.
6)The offer company pays a commission for every person who’s signed up via Freebie Jeebies. Typically this is £20, so Freebie Jeebies earns £200.
7)Freebie Jeebies uses this money to buy a £165 iPod touch for you. They ship your gift, and keep the other £35 as profit.

The number of friends you'll need varies with the gift you choose. You would only have to pay about 5 dollars for the offer and that's it, you can get all the free stuff you want! IT REALLY WORKS! This site has been approved by the BBC and CNN!
To sign up make sure you use THIS link:

    Thanks and enjoy!!

    • ANSWER:
This is just a blatant attempt at self promotion, and a poor one at that. People need to be in full awareness of what they are signing up to. Make a site or something, just don't spam yahoo questions, it's actually for questions... Not self promotion.

  3. QUESTION:
How to get an Internet volunteer project (like Wikipedia) - i.e.local guided tours via cellphones kick started?
With the growth of mobile phones with GPS and motion sensors; and the success of publicly contributed projects such as wikipedia. I can imagine there would be a big market for local guided tours which these cell phones could address. People visiting another town or country I am sure would love to have a local guide show them round the town, take them to their favorite dining establishments, or lead them on a scenic walk in the countryside. I am sure many tourist agencies and even retired people would love to contribute. With the latest cellphones and GPS I am sure this can be done without having to be physically present or even available online at the same time yet still providing directions, going into more details on places where the user lingered and perhaps providing some simple capabilities to answer questions. With augmented reality it could even show what a historic town may have looked like 100's of years ago.
My question is how could such a project get started, do you see it picking up interest and would you use it? If so would it be with commodity hardware like today's smartphones or with specialized ones provided by a tourist agency?

    • ANSWER:
The first step is to show your commitment to the project by putting in some work yourself, then ask for help from users and the community as a whole. I haven't really messed with this much, but I know Google Maps has an ability to create custom maps. Since standard Google Maps materials are commonly incorporated into Android apps, I'd bet you could put together an app that allowed custom maps to be imported. That would be a good first step. There's no reason you'd need specialized hardware for anything. I'm not much of a guided tour type on the whole, but I might use a specialty type product (historical, ghost sightings), and I'd certainly use a community generated guide program that was able to distinguish by contributor. There are a lot of tools out there that list bars and restaurants, but not so many that will let you sort them by the crowd they attract. Knowing the type of place a specific contributor likes to hang out would let you pick the vibe a little better.

  4. QUESTION:
Google "gives finger" to Chinese Censorship! Does Yahoo have the BALLS?
As an expat in China, I'm used to living without Youtube, Facebook and Twitter (all are blocked here).
But I hate the thought of losing Google - my homepage and a site I use almost daily.
Plus, Google offers a service here in China that doesn't exist anywhere else in the World: google.cn/MUSIC (think i -Tunes... only free!)

However, I would GLADLY sacrifice access to Google if it means making a stand against this CONTEMPTUOUS regime!

The Chinese Communist Party FEARS Google (despite being heavily censored) because it provides too much access to information and freedom of thought.

Google has tolerated Chinese censorship until now, but the last straw came when China hackers recently "cyber-attacked" the e-mail acounts of human rights activists.
Now, Google has declared it will no longer practice self-censorship in China and is prepared to lose access to the World's largest internet market!!!

So....... when will Yahoo! make a similar stand against this bully?!
Back in 2005, Yahoo! helped the Chinese government send dissident, Shi Tao, to prison:

And if your in Hong Kong you are NOT living in China. You are still basking in the social freedoms and civilised laws that Britain gave you.

I think the Chinese, and I mean "the man", has to realize sooner or later they will need the world's help, resources, knowledge, company, and diversity. Do they really expect us to pay them back for all the things they want to claim that were made in Taiwan?

BTW: Taiwan should be it's own country.

Has anyone heard of the "Dark internet" ... Deep Web conspiracy?
The Deep Web (also called Deepnet, the invisible Web, DarkNet, Undernet or the hidden Web) refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.

he dark Internet received attention in 2001 when many security organizations, including Arbor Networks, identified rogue dark networks as a potential farm for denial-of-service attacks and other illegal activity.

human trafficing, murder for hire, child pornography, black markets, an entire electronic currency called BitCoin...apparently the visible internet (what search engines can find) is only .03% of what is "there" Apparently you download a program called Tor to have a untracible IP and from what I heard stuff in there make the gore sites look like child's play

I haven't heard of it, but I believe it probably exists. the great depression: why did the stock market crash and why did that caused the depression?
I need to find out about it for exams, I've read heaps about it on wikipedia and on the internet but I still dont understand it all. can anyone simplify it for me!!!

    • ANSWER:
because after world war I, americans had earned alot of money due to overtime and extra worked hours. They began to spend like crazy and obtaining loans and credit from the banks..but as time went by, Americans had a difficult time paying their loans back to their banks due to the fact that immigrants were coming in and working for cheaper wages and jobs began to dissapear as the demand for war products was reduced. This created a dominoe effect ex. an American citizen was not able to pay back the bank, the bank repossesed the car but had to sell it and loose money, businesses were not selling much meaning that people werent spending and therefore america began to collapse because there was no money being made. It wasnt until woodrow wilson came to power and offered them a deal in which he would provide jobs for americans by builduing public parks and roads for cities. He was succesful in his part, but what really helped him was the begining of WWII..this brought back plentiful jobs and americans were once again up and going. The reason that this time a depression didnt happen was because of the establishment of industries all around the country..business were targeting consumer goods and advertising was an efficient way to reach out to them...anywho you wana know more? im me slsoccerslayer7@yahoo.com

What are the definition of these feasibility studies?
I'm studying accounting and I'm working on my graduation assignment and I have to do a feasibility study for a business that some people want to open where I live. Some new vitamin.
I couldn't find helpful info at the university library and I need information fast.
I found these on the internet. What are these? (Definitions) (no wikipedia please)

    1. Economic feasibility
    2. Financial feasibility
    3. Market feasibility
    4. Organizational feasibility
    5. Managerial feasibility
    6. Technical feasibility

I have seen a few sites and each has different definitions and explanations and I feel so lost right now.

Do I HAVE to look at all those 6 in order to determine the feasibility of the proposed business? If not, which ones do I have to look at?

Another thing, if you know of a good book that would be helpful with the market research or feasibility studies in general, could you tell me the name(s)? I was searching on amazon but couldn't really find anything that seems good.

  12. QUESTION:
Why did the Koch brother need to hire a PR firm to whitewash their wikipedia pages?
    Look at the talk page.....
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_activities_of_the_Koch_family

Koch Industries began employing New Media Strategies (NMS), an Internet PR firm that specializes in “word-of-mouth marketing” for major corporations including Coca-Cola, Burger King, AT&T, Dodge and Ford. It appears that, ever since the NMS contract was inked with Koch, an NMS employee began editing the Wikipedia page for “Charles Koch,” “David Koch,” “Political activities of the Koch family,” and “The Science of Success” (a book written by Charles). Under the moniker of “MBMAdmirer,” NMS employees edited Wikipedia articles to distance the Koch family from the Tea Party movement, to provide baseless comparisons between Koch and conspiracy theories surrounding George Soros, and to generally delete citations to liberal news outlets. After administrators flagged the MBMAdmirer account as a “sock puppet” — one of many fake accounts used to manipulate new media sites — a subsequent sock puppet investigation found that MBMAdmirer is connected to a number of dummy accounts and ones owned by NMS employees like Jeff Taylor.

I need help with my APUSH project?
    Here are the directions:
    Assignment---
Alone or with one partner you will create or adapt from another game, you own educational history board game covering a unit we have studied this first semester. The units covered include:
    ExplorationEarly Republic
    ColonizationAmerican Independence
Market Revolution and expansionismv Antebellum Era
    Civil War

    I PICK THE CIVIL WAR..

    Requirements
Every game is required to cover the specified unit. You should try to make it as enjoyable as possible, but every game must have an educational purpose. Please stay clear of the traditional “Trivial Pursuit” question and answer style of game; however questions with answers could be one component of the game.

Your completed game should include the following:
→All pieces needed to play the game and a game board (if the game can’t be played on the due date, then the project is LATE)
→A set of typed instructions that clearly explain the game’s rules and how to win
→ a bibliography of sources used to obtain the information. This bibliography should include at least 4 sources other than your textbook, and at least 1 non internet source. Wikipedia is not allowed!

I DONT KNOW HOW TO START???
what would the educational purpose of this game?

    • ANSWER:
I think the first step would be to determine the type of game. Do you want a questions and answer game? A roll the dice and move the pieces game? Maybe something like battleship? OR how about a RPG? Once you decide that: then you move on to how to include the necessary information into the game.

      That's what I'd do.

BTW - Sounds like a great assignment - must be a good class

Is there a device that you can buy that only has wikipedia? Not like a pc or a phone, something NOT connected to the internet.Something about the size of a blackberry.Maybe with a way to hook it up to a computer and get updates.I would love to have something like this.So is there anything like this on the market now?The only reason I wouldn't want a pc is because there a pain to drag around, and cells aren't allowed in school.

    • ANSWER:
      No, because :

      A) Wikipedia has tens of thousands of articles probably taking up a huge amount of data, and ;
      B) These articles are updated constantly so it would be impossilbe to store there on a device because they would be out of date as soon as you got it.

There is a mobile version of the wikipedia site which is available at http://wapedia.mobi/en/

You could access this on an internet enabled mobile phone. You could get the pages that you want while your wirless is turned on, save those pages in "off-line" mode so you can view the pages while the wireless is switched off (so you don't break the school rules).

That's all I can think of.

  17. QUESTION:
Where can I see the Web-browser User-Agent statistics for Wikipedia and other Wikimedia Foundation projects?
I believe that statistics of websites like CNET or Microsoft.com are not going to be a good representative of the Internet because they are more likely to be visited by the more technically-inclined audience (and thus more likely to have a higher share of hits from browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.).

In contrast, Wikipedia (and to a lesser extent, other Wikimedia Foundation projects such as Wiktionary, etc.) are likely to be a close representative of Web usage as a whole, since Wikipedia is likely to be visited by a very diverse audience (students, lawyers, doctors, professionals, homemakers, etc.).

In light of this, the User-Agent statistics of Wikipedia will give a very good idea of the market share of Web browsers. Where can I see the User-Agent statistics of Wikipedia?

    • ANSWER:
I can't find anything, but you might try the W3Counter user-agent statistics. It's used on 14,961 websites, if you consider that a fair sampling.

"This report was generated 08/31/2008 based on the last 45,358,549 unique visits to all tracked websites at that time. W3Counter's sample currently includes 14,961 websites. The last 25,000 page views to each website are analyzed to identify unique visits. Some visits may occur before the month of the report. "

    @Jana:

I completely agree: No one knows you like you know you.

However, I would like the scope of this question to exclude knowledge of one's on self. Thanks and excellent point!

    • ANSWER:
I couldn´t help but to notice the (above) definition of non-common knowledge.
I think that non-common knowledge can be defined as personal life experience. I mean, Knowledge that one has that isn`t necessary common to others, but is precious and usefull to him/her, in addition to knowledge that cannot be taught through lectures.
If you think about it, the above non-common knowledge list represents (not one person but) a group of people that have that knowledge. Even if it is a mall group, those particular "non-common" knowledges are common knowledge to them.
I don`t think we should always accept all definitions that encyclopedias trowe at us. Anyway, I am not trying to be rude. That`s what I think, though.
      Good luck :-)

  22. QUESTION:
Why does everyone say the liberals control the media?
    When they obviously don't.

I know this is going to go off the rails with people who read nothing but the title but I have a few things I'd like addressed specifically.

I'm a news junkie, I bounce channels a lot, of the big 3 (I call the big 3, Fox, MSNBC and CNN) I find Fox to be as conservative as it gets. CNN to depend upon who is anchoring / who's show is on and MSNBC to be as liberal as it gets.

I've served in the military and call me crazy but I find a majority of MSNBC to be rational, down to earth and believe it or not, entertaining.
CNN seems to like to play back and forth on compassion and hard fact. Anderson Cooper seems bleeding heart while Lou Dobbs seems firm. I've seen a lot of bad things but Fox news is the only channel that actually concerns me, concerns in a sense of "Good lord, what are they thinking."

When I can't be in front of a TV I like to listen to talk radio, I get most of my news from talk radio. I don't get Air America where I am at, and I really don't know any places that do - I have streamed it a few times. Rush Limbaugh seems like he only cares about the rich. Sean Hannity seems self righteous and only cares about the conservative party. Glenn Beck seems like a pretty decent guy, libertarian with a lot of coservative policy ? Mike Savage is crazy. Mark Levin's voice is too annoying for me to listen to so I cannot comment.

But I've done some digging and the only thing I can come up with is that of these 3 news stations, The big 3 24 hour news stations, Fox News has an overwhelming control of the market. Anyone can goto wikipedia and see the plethora of businesses and companies they control.

Why is it that a media source, who obviously has control over so many different parts of the market, TV, News, Movies, Radio, Internet (Oh yes teenagers, they own MySpace) outrightly lies about who is controlling the media ?
What liberals exist on Fox News with a purpose other than to stoke the flames for the Conservative sitting in the seat across from them ?
I appreciate Dave's Answer. I never thought to look into the news papers because I live right next to the town where they print The Tribune Review, a Richard Mellon-Scaiffe paper.
This is a link for bmovies60
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/News_Corp

    • ANSWER:
What you are missing is that all those cable stations together have fewer viewers than ABC, NBC and CBS news shows. THAT is where most people get their news, tv-wise. I notice you don't rate them on your "liberal to conservative" scale, and I wish you would take the time, some week, and see where you think they land.
Likewise, in the newspaper world, the fact is, nearly every newspaper in America gets their news from the AP or the New York Times. There are not more than a dozen other papers in the country that actually develop their own stories, and of those, most still follow the NY Times' lead on what is and isn't news. Both the AP and the NY Times are just off the hook liberal, both in WHAT they cover, and in how much they editorialize in their so-called "reporting".

Funny, on the talk radio thing I mostly agree with you, except that Michael Savage is the one whose voice just grates on me. Even when he is saying something I agree with, I sometimes have to change channels just to get away from his strident tone.

  23. QUESTION:
Could you check my language mistakes?

    • ANSWER:
~Yes, I could. In fact, I did. Your first one was in simply inquiring as to my ability rather than to ask for my help or a critique of the prose.

Language is a precise tool. Learn to use it precisely.

If MJ truly is a teacher, which I doubt, and teaches any subject that requires application of the rules of grammar, one can only hope she has not been granted tenure and her writing ability is reviewed and is part of the criteria upon which continued employment will rely. If my children attended a school in which she was employed, and if my complaints to the school board and administration went unheeded, I would withdraw them and enroll them in private schools or I would home teach them. Someone save us from such incompetence. I'll leave the ethical issues out of it for now.
On the other hand, if MJ was trying as hard as I was to help you with your homework (by doing it for you), then MJ, I apologize - but the commentary on your prose stands. I don't understand why you did the cut and paste, however.

VIAGRA UK Health experts please........is the VIAGRA one can buy?
in some shops and the Internet, safe to use? The WIKIPEDIA listings clearly say "see your doctor" and make sure of the real thing on a prescription. So is there a lot of counterfeit VIAGRA on the market?

  25. QUESTION:
    nike...did u know about that?
    Nike™
The sign of NIKE (tick) or a word NIKE printed on T-Shits & Caps. Should muslims avoid purchasing & wearing the types of Stuffs. As if listen from many people that "It is Shirk" & it means I obey any other GOD (than Allah) (Nauzubillah) Please provide me brief answer & the history of Nike (if it is Truth).

    Praise be to Allaah.

This well known registered trademark, Nike, which may be the most well known of sporting brands in the world, bears the name of the Greek goddess of victory. The founders of this company who chose this name were Philip Knight and Bill Bowerman. They chose this name as a symbol of good luck and hope of victory for sportsmen who wore this brand and propagate the symbol of this god.

This is something well known that is stated in encyclopaedias. See Wikipedia.org on the internet. In an article on this topic in the well-known al-Mawrid dictionary it says:

Nike was the god of victory among the ancient Greeks, who was usually presented in the form of a winged maiden, carrying a crown in one hand and a palm branch in the other. End quote.

    Al-Mawrid Qamoos Ingleezi ‘Arabi (p. 613)

We find the same information in a book called al-Mu’taqadaat al-Deeniyyah ‘inda al-Shu’oob, ed. by Geoffrey Barrinder, which was published in Arabic in Silsilat ‘Aalam al-Ma’rifah, no. 173, p. 409.

Thus it is clear that it is not permissible for the Muslim to wear this symbol or to imitate those who wear it. The Muslim believes in the Oneness of Allaah (Tawheed) and believes that victory, help and strength come from Him alone. Wearing this symbol is contrary to his belief and faith. If he has no option but to buy the products of this company, then at least he should erase their symbol and name so that it is not on his chest, foot or neck. Thus his religious commitment will be safe as will his belief (‘aqeedah).

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

With regard to images, such as images which appear on clothes for adults and children, they are the same: it is not permissible for a person to wear anything with pictures on it, or to dress his children, boys and girls alike, in anything that has pictures on it.

With regard to words written on garments, such as “I am a Christian” on a sweater, or “I am a Jew” or “Christian” or “sexual fluid” or “the gushing water of man” or writing the symbol for Venus, which is a symbol for immoral actions, and also writing “the ancient Greek god of love” or “alcoholic drink” or the name of a man and woman, or “Christmas” – all of these are unacceptable.

What matters is that we are a Muslim people, and what we must do is boycott these clothes. We should also write to the Ministry of Trade, reminding them to fear Allaah, and tell them: You must be very careful about such things that are imported to our market.

Subhan Allaah, a Muslim boy or girl with the words “I am a Christian” or “I am a Jew” written on their clothes! Don’t we understand? Are we sheep? Subhaan Allaah, we should be one ummah. If the people in charge are heedless of this and are unaware of it, we should write to them and point it out and send examples of these clothes. That has to do with those who are in charge. As for the rest of us, we should advise them and explain this matter to them. If we do that we will have discharged our duty, and they will be responsible before Allaah.

“The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

    89. Except him who brings to Allaah a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifaaq (hypocrisy)]”

    [al-Shu’ara’ 26:88-89]

Woe to them, for they have betrayed the trust and fallen short in taking care of their flock, so the ummah will be their opponents on the Day of Resurrection.

As for us, what we must do is boycott these things, and not spend our money on that which is bad for us, because at the very least a boy may start accept accepting these words that say that he is a Jew or a Christian, when we know that the Jews and Christians have been our enemies since ancient times.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliyaa’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Awliyaa’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Awliyaa’), then surely, he is one of them. Verily, Allaah guides not those people who are the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust).

    52. And you see those in whose hearts there is a disease (of hypocrisy), they hurry to their friendship, saying: ‘We fear lest some misfortune of a disaster may befall us’”

    [al-Maa’idah 5:51-52]

i.e., we are afraid that some misfortune may befall us, but if we make friends with them, they will be with us. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Perhaps Allaah may bring a victory or a decision according to His Will. Then they will become regretful for what they have been keeping as a secret in themselves”

    [al-Maa’idah 5:42]
What we must do is boycott these things completely, and if we see that a shopkeeper is selling them, we should advise him and tell him to fear Allaah, and draw his attention to it, because some shopkeepers do not know English and do not know what the writing says. But we should tell them. Allaah is sufficient against those who wrote it and deceived the people with it.
Even the names of singers and soccer (football) stars and others who are not Muslim – all of that is not permissible, because it will lead to the Muslim venerating these people, who are kaafirs.
With regard to images (pictures), we have stated that they are haraam on sweaters, shirts and pants. End quote.
    Liqa’ al-Baab il-Maftooh (4/question no. 14)

  26. QUESTION:
Are conservatives trying to minimize the Koch brothers involvement in politics with Soros conspiracies?

Remember in 2005 when McCain cosponsered legislation that would regulate Fanny and Freddy's mortgage buying requirements? Here's the last paragraph of his announcement:

"I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole." <===this was 2005!

McCain was sounding the alarm bell 3 years ago, but no one was listening.

What was Obama doing while McCain was warning us about Freddy and Fanny? :

"Lehman Brothers’ collapse is traced back to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two big mortgage banks that got a federal bailout a few weeks ago. Freddie and Fannie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs. A group called the center for responsive politics keeps track of which politicians get Fannie and Freddie political contributions. The top three U.S. Senators getting big Fannie and Freddie political bucks were democrats and number two is Senator Barack Obama."

In just four short years, Barack Obama has received more campaign money from Fanny And Freddy than any other Senator except Chris Dodd, Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, as reported by The Center for Responsive Politics, seen here at opensecrets:

Republicans have been leery of John McCain, but he got the surge right, back in 2003. Thank God the current administration finally listened to him. Once again, this time with the economy, McCain’s good judgment would have saved our butts had we listened to him. John McCain blew the whistle on Fanny and Freddy back in 2005, while Obama was getting his palm greased by the same group. There’s some good judgment you can believe in!

I AM THE AUTHOR OF THIS QUESTION EXCEPT FOR THE TWO QUOTES!
Care to provide a link Judo? One of my sources was the US Senate!
I understand Westhill. It's hard to explain why McCain was blowing the whistle on Fanny and Fred while Obama was getting money from them both. More money in 4 short years that 20 and 30 year Senate veterans. I can't explain it either.
Sorry Westhill. I forgot to address your question. McCain is sort of in the middle. He's not completely liked by Democrats or Republicans. His bill did not get the support necessary to get out of committee from either side.

I understand why Lieberman, an Independent, likes McCain and has thrown his support to McCain even though he caucuses with Democrats. McCain, although Republican, behaves like an Independent when making decisions for America. His first concern is "What's Best for My Country."
    .
    .
    Lady Snowbird:
It's called bundling. The money came from Freddy and Fanny as individual contributions bundled by the two mortgage lenders.

    • ANSWER:
I agree with you! THere is much more that is right about McCain than most people (Dems or Republicans) give him credit for.

This Dem has stopped voting for a party and has begun researching and voting for individual candidates. This year, it is McCain for me!

    Ron Paul fans:
I agree with Ron on economic issues. He called for the elimination of the Federal Reserve and the IRS, both of which were enacted by a Democrat named Woodrow Wilson in 1913.
McCain's economic policies are so much closer to Ron Paul's (also a Republican) and the Libertarian Party's than Obama's, I hope you will consider voting for McCain. Just this time. We are in a place where the direction we take next could spell disaster if the wrong guy gets in office. America needs your vote to count towards the next president. I may join you in 2012...

  33. QUESTION:
Job Interview Question - list three websites I visit?
I have to do this survey to get this job interview for internship position. This job is for Math and Statistics Analyst (a.k.a. Business Analyst, Market Research Analyst) at Bell Canada.

One question was list top three Internet websites I visit.

These are my answers in order from most to less
    1. MSN.com in truth to get news since it is my homepage but then Google News seems to point directly at news and less at Entertainment news plus it is the place I go for news. So either MSN or Google News
    2. Wikipedia
3, Facebook (I don't want to make myself sound fake by putting sites of BusinessWeek, Forbes, GlobeandMail and other news website).

    What do you guys suggest?

    • ANSWER:
Tell the truth, presumably your potential employer will see these answers long before you get to the interview. It doesn't matter which websites you visit (as long as it's not www.nakedvicarsonacid.com or similar) as long as you can give an interesting answer as to why you've put it. For example, 'I go on facebook because I have a wide group of friends who happen to live around the world, I use Facebook to keep up with them and their news...'. If you put Business Week or whatever, I guarantee that they will ask you what you thought of yesterday's editorial on the decline of bowler hat making industry in Peru.

I would, perhaps, suggest that you try and put something that hints at your hobbies and interests outside of work as a better option, rather than something like Wikipedia, as it would allow you to steer the conversation towards the fact that you were inter-state hog wrestling champion three years in a row...

  34. QUESTION:

I COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT WESTERN UNION IS THE BEST BANKING SYSTEM THAT CAN TRANSFER MONEY FROM ONE NATION TO ANOTHER WITHIN ONE MINUTE OR AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT.

MAYBE, MICROSOFT COULD BUY WESTERN UNION AND MODIFY IT CONTENT TO GET THIS THING DONE.

WHEN YOU TALK OF COMMISION FOR SERVICE DONE, I AM SURE MICROSOFT COULD DOUBLE IT MARKET CAPITALIZATION TO BE THE NUMBER ONE COMPANY IN AMERICA BY 2014.

WE WANT TO SEND MONEY OVERSEA BUT SOME BANK ARE VERY SLOW AND SO WE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.

HENCE, WITH THIS NEW SYSTEM, MANKIND CAN SENT MONEY TO ANY NATION ON THIS EARTH WITHIN ONE MINUTE AND THEREBY BRING HAPPINESS TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM PROBLEM CONCERNING FOOD, CLOTHES, SHELTER AND OTHER THINGS.

WE CAN DO IT THEN PROVE IT?

  35. QUESTION:
If this makes Palin a "tax cheat", then what is Charles B. Rangle?
    Palin:
---- Records: Palin cabins not noted in tax assessments ----
"Property taxes totaling 6.13 were paid on the land in 2009"
"The two parcels of land, separated by one lot, total 25 acres and had a combined value of ,000 in 2007 through 2009, according to assessment records. Dunivan said the data collected in Thursday's survey will be calculated into 2010 assessment notices being mailed out at the end of the month."

    Rangle:
"The New York Times reported on July 10, 2008 that Rangel rents four apartments in the Lenox Terrace complex in Harlem at below-market rates. The newspaper reported that Rangel paid ,894 monthly for all four apartments in 2007, but that the going rate for similar apartments offered by the landlord in that building would be as high as ,125 monthly" "Rangel received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from one of the company’s owners, according to The Times."
"... experts cited by The Times indicated that the difference in rent between what Rangel was paying and market rates on the second, third and fourth apartments he rented, an estimated ,000 per year, could be construed as a gift as the savings is granted at the discretion of the landlord and is not offered to the public at large; if this should be treated as a gift, it would exceed the 0 limit established by the House of Representatives"

"Rangel was also accused of failing to report income from the rental of a villa he owns in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, a three-bedroom, three-bath unit that has been rented out for as much as ,100 per night in the busiest tourist season, from mid-December to mid-April."
"...was one of several early investors who had interest payments waived in 1990."

" ...Rangel's attorney, disclosed that Rangel had failed to report ,000 in income he had received for renting the condo on his tax returns"

"Additional accounting discrepancies were disclosed on September 15, 2008, including omission in Rangel's financial reports of details regarding the sale of a home he once owned on Colorado Avenue in Washington, DC,..."

"...discrepancies in the value listed for a property he owns in Sunny Isles, Florida .."

"... and inconsistencies in investment fund reporting."

"An article in the September 18, 2008 New York Post states, "Rep. Charles Rangel has been using a House of Representatives parking garage for years as free storage space for his old Mercedes-Benz - a violation of congressional rules and a potential new tax woe ..."

"On November 23, 2008, the New York Post reported that Rangel took a "homestead" tax break on his Washington, DC house for years while simultaneously occupying multiple New York City rent-stabilized apartments, "possibly violating laws and regulations in both cases."

"In December 2008, it surfaced that Rangel paid ,000 in campaign funds to an Internet company run by his son for the creation of his PAC website."

  36. QUESTION:
What happens 10 years from now (technology-wise)?
The world is on an expanding technology and its really hard to keep up with new and improved things when you're not rich. We are generating an advancement in technology twice their predecessor every 2 years.

In terms of disk storage, will terrabytes be a common storage capacity in 10 years?

In terms of videos, can comes after Blue ray? And how much more of an improvement can there be?

The development for vehicular improvement (other than its entertainment value for cars) didn't change much in the past decade so will we see any difference after 10 years?

Will the development of human cloning be made public? And what world impact will it create? Would they have the same human rights? Would they be use to harvest failed organs?

How small will mobile devices be after 10 years? What more improvement can we envision on the use of miniature devices?

In terms of gaming, what new technology comes next after wii? Is Virtual Reality games (at home) too early?

How much will we know about alpha centauri? Would Mars landing be possible in the next decade?

What benefits will the newly discovered chemical elements are there in the future (e.g. Copernicium)? Will volatile compounds be now use legally to create a less expensive energy source?

Are we at war or for peace? Will the development of biological weapons increase or diminished?

Seeing that there's much awareness for the environment nowadays, will we be seeing a lot of expensive environment friendly appliances in the future? Will styrofoams no longer be used for take outs and deliveries; or would we finally discover a less expensive alternatives?

What will surpass wikipedia and facebook? During the past decade, we've seen a lot of internet companies merging with other companies. Who will be next in this list of conglomeration?

What's the most likely disease to be cured this coming decade?

Will 3D viewing in cinemas be a common place? Should we start investing on buying our own 3d glasses? What comes next after Imax 3D?

Touchscreens are starting to create enough hype to become a common tool early-on though it took around 2 decades since the boom of personal computers before it was fully marketed. So what's next after touchscreen monitors? How long it will take before we can have holography inexpensively sold worldwide? And whch company will venture into this field?

What comes next after Windows 7? I actually saw Microsoft futuristic take (through youtube) on what they will have between 2015 and 2020 and it is an amazing expanse. How realistic is it from being achieved (e.g. touchscreen slide-ups from one screen to the next becoming common in business functions, children using transparent glass to draw things and even perhaps replace the blackboard)?

What will replace our fuel source or will it ever been replaced after 10 years?

How would increase in world population be improved against the consumption of goods and our natural resources while creating improvement in the life span of a human being?

There's still so much out there to find and improve. In 100 years, we'll finally be able to travel half the world in less than 5 hours or even in minutes. In 200 years, maybe we can finally achieve vehicles hovering the ground, a cure for the common cold, live in the moon, meet outworldly race, improve cellular regeneration, eradication of poverty, etc.

But until that time comes, in a realistic point of view, what comes after 10 years?

    • ANSWER:
10 years from now we'll be signing data tablets instead of papers using our thumbnail. Although there are companies that do this already, it would probably be a common thing.

Terrabytes will be the unit of data storage commonly use but the need for an increasing data storage will continue. There will also be an increase in internet connection. RAM speed will increase.

3D might not become common because of the need for eyeframes but I think we will have it solved or probably create a new technology behind this altogether.

Organic LED would now be use revolutionizing TV screens and monitors plus it would be less expensive.

Companies would still continue to use Blu ray seeing that they invested a huge amount of money converting old movies into this new technology. What's next though I believe are holographic discs. Japan has been expanding on this project to compete with the American market but I surmise in 2018, Holographic Versatile Disc will start its marketing campaign.

  37. QUESTION:
So is it a GOOD or BAD thing that KodomoNoJikan/Nymphet did not make it to the West due to the controversies?
For those who dont know what Nymphet/KodomoNoJikan is...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodomo_no_Jikan

For those of you who dont like reading...I'll summarize. Male protagonist gets a job teaching a class of 3rd graders (its in Japan...but their age indicates they'd be 3rd Graders in the West) in this story. In his class there is one relatively promiscuous little girl who has a crush on him. She happens to have a rather developed knowledge of things involving sex for her age, hence she uses her knowledge in an attempt to seduce him...the protagonist is rigtfully TERRIFIED of the girl's flirts...both because relationships between teacher and students will get him fired, AND since she's underage, will get him arrested.
Most of the humor and drama of this series basically works from that premise.

As an avid fan of that series, I'm probably biased towards this. So I was quite excited when Seven Seas Entertainment licensed this series and decided to translate and market this series to the West. But the Media Watch dogs and Though polices all over the internet jumped at this series, attacking it as some sort of "PEDOPHILIC KIDDIE PORN COMIC" or something like that....
The worse part?? The Watchdogs, and Conservatives angrily complaining about this series DID NOT ONCE LOOK at what this series really is!! The most knowledge they have of this series is from either A)they saw a single scan, or B)heresay...and as the result of the controversy, Seven Seas dropped the title, forever dooming any chances this series may have in the West...

I have TWO questions regarding this series actually...

    1. How come the watch dogs and other people whining about this series NEVER read 3 or so chapters of this series first BEFORE RAISING such unneeded controversy?? Everyone I've seen yelling bloody murder at this series did so without truly knowing what it's about!!

    and

    2. For me would this situation actually be a GOOD thing or a BAD thing that it didnt come over to the West??
PRO: I can continue dling translated scans for free over the internet without paying....thanks to a fan of the series releasing scans of it in his website.
CON: The moral though police and media watch dogs as well as soccer moms wins.
PS-...do you think this question is too long for most people to read? Thus discouraging many people from answering?
PPS- This series is a SEINEN SERIES. A series AIMED at 18+ college students and adults. So its NEVER intended to be enjoyed by 3rd grade school children. IF the series comes to the west, SevenSeas would have added an 16+ label or something like that into it....so its NEVER intended to be viewed by 5 year olds....
Just in case people bring in the "I don't want my baby 3 year old exposed to this!" crap on me....

    • ANSWER:
      1. They enjoy drama, and feeling important.

      2. I'm glad it didn't make it to the west not because it's a pedophile series, but because it's just not a GOOD series.

  38. QUESTION:
Why is apple not being sued for anticompetitive behavior?
As we all know. Microsoft has been sued for anticompetitive behaviour for distributing Internet Explorer as part of windows and not playing nice with competitors on their own platform:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Microsoft
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union_Microsoft_competition_case

Whether you agree with this or not, why is that apple (who have an effective monopoly on the iPhone OS and market) are not subject to similar lawsuits?

After all, not only do they distribute their own software as the only options (a la microsoft), but they leverage their control over the app store to effectively block out competing technologies... So even if consumers WANT to use alternative 3rd party offerings – they can't.

    Is that not anti-competitive too?
@Joel, the 3rd party offerings I am talking about that apple actively block include: Flash, Java, and anything that competes with software they write, such as any type of browser, email or calendar program.

I'm also pretty sure the T&Cs allow them to block any app, for any reason they like.

    • ANSWER:
Apple hardly have a monopoly on the smartphone market - they probably have less than 1/3 of the market share. They have a monopoly in that they're the only ones who can sell iPhone OS, but there's never been any suggestion that it should be separated from the hardware and licensed to other manufacturers.

Apple would argue that anyone is free to write Web applications for the iPhone, and there are no restrictions on this at all. The App Store is a bit more of a grey area, but it probably wouldn't seem unreasonable to the legal system that they would filter things for objectionable content or for quality control, if it is done so in a reasonable manner.

What 3rd party offerings and competing technologies are you talking about? The only thing I can think of that comes close to this is when the Google Voice app was blocked by Apple, and this was successfully reimplemented as a Web application. It's not a monopoly if you sell a vertical platform (such as a mobile phone) and don't separate the components. You can't buy a DVD player without the firmware being included, and I've never heard anyone complaining about that.

  39. QUESTION:
How one should count the amount of of total download?
Hello guys, I have a question regarding measuring total amount of downloading when I am using the internet. I pay for a package where the download capacity is limited to two GB per month, though I hardly download about 300 MB per month for my job purpose as I work as a medical transcriptionist but I use the net throughout my working hours as I need a lot of information from internet for my job purpose, though mainly I use the Google search engine to find those information, I also open a site wikipedia or other for infomation every now and then. My questions are that, is google search is taken for downloading and if so, how many KB per search? Is opening a website is taken for downloading, if so, how many KB for each website opening. If I watch something on youtube, will that be counted as downloading and if so, how many KB or MB grossly for every 10-minute video for calcultion. If I use a website which updates itself automatically every 15 seconds (like the websites which provide live stock market charts, price, etc.), how many KB or MB downloading will be counted for that. I regularly transfer files through either email or a particular website. Will that uploading also be taken for downloading while using the net and if so how is that calculated? I have already asked so many people regarding this but none has come up with a satisfactory and accurate answer. One information has always differed form other. I will be really grateful to you guys for your authentic information.

    • ANSWER:
Everything transferred to your computer counts. Videos will use up the most of your capacity. For web stuff, the best way to tell is to actually measure. If you use Firefox, FirefoxThrottle will tell you. Just download and install it from my link. Then right-click on the speed gauge on the bottom right and click "Show traffic counters". You will then see traffic indicators on the bottom right.

1,024KB is 1 MB. 1,024MB is 1 GB. The number on the left is the total downloaded for that session. On the right is the total uploaded for that session.

  40. QUESTION:
    Bharat Ratn for whom?
I have two deserving candidates for India's highest civilian award Bharat Ratn. I have listed my views why I think these are most deserving candidates for Bharat Ratn. I do not consider any politician of any party deserving candidate for Bharat Ratn. Can you add more to this list?

    Dr. Ashok Jhunjhunwala:

A firm believer that India needs Indian solutions, this professor at IIT, Madras goes beyond just teaching. Ashok Jhunjhunwala is an entrepreneur who has founded seven companies centering around new technology or innovations in existing technology. His TeNet group has incubated many telecom and banking products for rural markets, like a low-cost ATM and a remote medical diagnostic kit.
Inventor of Wireless Local Loop. Advised government to purchase the under water sea cable when was on the VSNL board thus today India is self dependent in the field of Internet.

And the interesting part about this person is, he is still an IIT Madras professor living in IIT Madras campus, uses Bajaj super for commuting withing campus, not a CEO of a Multi National Company or a millionaire. He does not own a car.

Dear Mukul, There are many more such people who work for no selfish cause but for the nation and humanity. Like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Mother Teresa. Then less meda fame Sunderlal Bahuguna of Chipko Andolan, Famous Indian nuclear experimental physicist Dr. Harish Chandra Verma. I was trying to collect suggestions from the Yahoo users, because I want to send ONE name to Presidnet and Prime Minister through my not for profit social cause organization as a request. So far these two names are on the top of the list.
FRIENDS, REQUEST TO PLEASE SUGGEST ONLY NON-POLITICIANS. THANK-YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
AND ALSO PLEASE POST YOUR VIEWS WHY THAT INDIVIDUAL SHOULD BE AWARDED WITH BHARAT-RATN WITH FACTS. WHAT THAT INDIVIDUAL HAS DONE FOR THE NATION?
Thank-you gayemala and ap, Mr. Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy is defienetely a potential candidate.

Thanks Let the world live in peace, for your suggestion on Mr. Ratan Tata. But I think you have given the answer yourself. Most of the projects for social cause are started by JRD not by Mr. Ratan Tata. And I also think, Mr. Ratan Tata will be anyways awarded by Bharat Ratn, in future by Indian government as he is a big media fame too. I admire him a lot personally.
SO FAR I HAVE TWO ADDITIONAL SUGGESITONS, MR NARAYAN MOORTHI AND MR. RATAN TATA. GUYS, DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

    • ANSWER:
the name of N.R.Narayana murthy of infosys can also be considered.

  41. QUESTION:
Can anyone give me essay feedback?
It's quite long, I know, but if anyone would just read it and give me some feedback. It's a persuasive essay for english class. I'm not sure if it's correct. Mostly the second paragraph. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to do that in an essay or not. if you could read it, it would be a huge help. Thank you very much.

What would you do if you couldn't marry - you could only have a ceremony, sign a contract, and become a civil union with the one you love? Would you, like many others, feel robbed and unreasonably monstrous as if you're a threat to everyone? What would you do if your sexual preference became the reason people's stomach turned when they saw you? What would you do if 61% of your State voted Yes on a Proposition that banned you and your same-sex partner from getting married? If you're gay, you'd be upset. If you're heterosexual but can understand the difficulties concerning a ban so neasseating, I applaud you. Proposition 8, in all its unritcheousness, has restricted marriage to an act explicitly for a man and a woman. In legal terms, it means that California has taken back the idea of a tradition marriage. If not pulled immediately, this proposition will defy the American philosophy of equality, impose on and danger the lives of homosexuals, and market a terrible influence for children.

Google 'equality'. A series of links come up: a wikipedia defintion of the term, a college students essay on the equality of men and women, equality rules for kids, and Canada is even mentioned in reference to an alliance for the blind. There are no headlines on the page that would depress anyone with thoughts of inequality. It was very refreshing to glance at something pacifstic for a change. After tearing through the official website of the same-sex marriage opponents and raging for a chance to punch the face of every individual opposed of gay marriage, I felt my heart no longer pumping irregularily for a taste of violence. An immense transition took place. When I stare in the face of the "Yes on Prop 8" homepage, I want to strangle homphobes and hardcore traditional marraige folks who can't grasp the concept of change, but when I stare into the first page of fifteen million just like it on the topic of equality, and knowing that there are thousands of essays and petitions and videos advertising the beauty of - well, that's inspiring. Sadly, there are twice as many pages on 'inequality'. And it got me thinking. So, I trashed my previous paragraph on freedom because it was full of the teenage preacher that lives through my opinions. Same-sex marriage may not be traditional, but the world needs change. The world thrives on change. If the world stayed the same since the day it was born, African American's would still be enslaved by white folk, women would be enslaved my legislature, and everybody would be enslaved my war. And without freedom or change, those college kids wouldn't have the guts to post their opinion on the internet. Just like, without freedom, gay citizens do not have the right to marry. Where is the world headed when we can't accept gay people and their hearts direction? Inequality is a dangerous thing. Take away a persons right to wed, and they become an unequal member of society. The respect for them is lowered, and they are seen as a minorty. Where is the equality in that? The only defect the government of California sees in these people are the people they choose to love.

The first body paragraph is obviously not finished but I didn't want to write any further in case I wasn't doing it right in the first place.

    • ANSWER:
Your essay isn't persuasive. In order to write a persuasive essay you need to take a specific side of an issue (for example: they should teach sex education to 7th graders), support your main argument for it with facts (50% of people are sexually active by that age), bring up the points against you (parents don't want their kids to know about sex), and then resolve those issues (kids are doing it anyways, its better to be safe). You need to rely on logic not emotion.

  42. QUESTION:
What happens when sub-replacement fertility hits all nations?
In industrial white nations this has been going on for sometime and is one of the many reasons immigration has been put in place ie to maintain a workforce (unlike Japan). But if you look at the data, you'll find a significant increase in women across the color-line not having children...and in nations formerly considered high birth countries. Mexico went from 2.40 to 2.21 in five years. Latin nations are following suit. The culture of industrialism, inflation, abortions/birth control, and the movement of ladies to the job market have stunted the survival of many cultures in the long-run, if such models continue. Will the internet bring more women home and increase the birth-rate? Will immigration nations (e.g Mexico) soon become nations desperately holding on to their work force? Will most nations with the highest birth rates and often most unstable political regime...be a reasonable replacement in all the nations that are industrially prosperous or is there a better way forward? What are the implications on programs (e.g social security and medicare) when there no-longer is an equally productive workforce to supplement such? What do you expect to happen...?

  44. QUESTION:
who has been building trucks the longest?
simple question iv been seeing someone ranting about this so here goes; From the time Henry Ford partially assembled and sold his first truck in 1900-three years before the Ford Motor Co. (Dearborn, Mich.) was founded in 1903-The bulk of production from 1900 to 1917 went to fill customer demand for Model T cars. Although Ford built commercial vehicles before 1917-a panel delivery truck, Model C delivery vans, and Model T commercial vehicles-they were actually cars converted to commercial use using after-market bodies supplied by many small companies. The history of the Dodge truck . From the very first model, built by The Dodge Brothers Company in 1918 and modeled after Ford's Model T, taken from wikipedia ford made more g-p utility vehicles during the second world war and the f-150 has been the top seller since 1948 to present so here the question if this information is freely available on the internet why dont people research they answers first?also who made the first diesel over the road truck? please provide a link thanks Best answer gets 10 points

  47. QUESTION:
1980s Devil Food Cookies: I Just Know My Brother Has Got it Wrong.?
So, when I was a teenager and my little brother was a kid (we're 6 years apart), we used to come home from school, sit on our parents' bed, and watch cartoons while eating our afternoon snack. The cartoons: Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, and He-Man. The snack: devil's food cookies. You know: chocolate cake inside, wrapped in marshmallow and then a layer of chocolate? Mmmmmmmm...

Here's the beef: I remember this now-defunct brand of cookies that came in a long, brown box. The cookies themselves were rectangular (well, close enough - they had rounded edges)... maybe the size and shape of a pretty small cellphone nowadays (but not as thick) or a playing card (but slightly smaller). They often had little bubbles on the underside, which was slightly convex.

Little bro thinks I'm out of my mind, because he remembers our favorite childhood cookies as being circular. Iiiiii think he's just confused, because the only devil's food cookies on the market today are SnackWells, which look ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME (except that they're round):

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

Oh, pretty please, someone tell me that they remember devil's food cookies that weren't circular back in the day? I've been looking all over the internet for some photographic evidence but there's nothing (except the really bad image I created as a joke a while back to mess with him). Any assistance out there?

BTW, if you think it's strange that we have arguments over the shape of 1980s cookies, you're probably right. But if so, you probably also don't understand a good, (semi)healthy obsession with food and desserts. =) ... not to mention nostalgia, and arguing with little brothers who should know when their older brothers are right. =)

    Thanks for helping!

      ♥♥ Hi! ♥♥

      I absolutely remember them.
My brother and I had them at our grandma's house.
They were kind of square with the corners rounded off, about 1/2 inch high, curved in bottom, and tasted wonderful.

Actually I think they were still around until about 10 or 15 years ago.
I wish I had some now!

  48. QUESTION:
Has anyone heard of the "Dark internet" ... Deep Web conspiracy?
The Deep Web (also called Deepnet, the invisible Web, DarkNet, Undernet or the hidden Web) refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.

he dark Internet received attention in 2001 when many security organizations, including Arbor Networks, identified rogue dark networks as a potential farm for denial-of-service attacks and other illegal activity.

human trafficing, murder for hire, child pornography, black markets, an entire electronic currency called BitCoin...apparently the visible internet (what search engines can find) is only .03% of what is "there" Apparently you download a program called Tor to have a untracible IP and from what I heard stuff in there make the gore sites look like child's play

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_internet

    • ANSWER:
You must be mental to believe this rubbish. And there are obviously rogue sites, but ANY site is traceable by search engines, and unless they are searchable they are absolutely no use whatsoever. Nobody could find them. ALL Internet traffic has to pass across the whole Internet. The percentage figure you quote is obviously the figment of a sick mind. Just look at the number of machines on the Internet and it is a totally unrealistic figure. And you can NOT change your IP address, it is allocated by your ISP, and changing it cuts off the connection, and gives them the right to terminate your service without notice, leaving you liable for outstanding contract payments and any data losses by your illegal action. This can run to millions. Using a proxy is still traceable, all packets are marked with the originating address, or the proxy could not return them correctly. How do you think various police agencies have broken several large child porn rings this year already? It is not like the movies. It is real life. And denial of service attacks originate from client machines, not servers.

  49. QUESTION:
McCain was sounding the alarm bell in 2005. Why weren't we listening?
Remember in 2005 when McCain cosponsored legislation that would regulate Fanny and Freddy's mortgage buying requirements? Here's the last paragraph of his announcement:

"I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole." <===this was 2005!

McCain was sounding the alarm bell 3 years ago, but no one was listening.
