Internet Marketing Book Reviews
To download these e-books you will have to choose ''save as'' to save them onto your computer. Otherwise you may not be saving the information just viewing it. Check to see if the e-books are in PDF format. Some sites offer e-books in Microsoft Word or other formats that are often simpler to use.
Internet marketing e-books can be interactive and pleasing to the eye. Once the e-book is downloaded on your computer, all the associated files are stored on there permanently. Another point that is great about e-books is that they can be updated with the click of a mouse.
One example of a good Internet marketing e-book is Google Cash by Chris Carpenter. This e-book tells how to make money by using Google on the Internet. His step-by-step instructions show how to begin using Google without even having your own website. Many users have said that this Internet marketing e-book has helped them make money in the shortest amount of time.
Internet marketing e-books can be found on e-book directories all over the Internet. Also, you can find listings of dozens of free e-books. Using Internet marketing e-books is a great way to get lots of great information on how to start a home-based business without spending a great deal of money. And since many Internet marketing e-books are free, there is no reason to not try to get some soon and start working on that dream home-based business tonight! For help visit www.make-your-ebook-sell.com.
Early e-books were generally written for specialty areas and a limited audience, meant to be read only by small and devoted interest groups. The scope of the subject matter of these e-books included technical manuals for hardware, manufacturing techniques, and other subjects.
Numerous e-book formats emerged and proliferated, some supported by major software companies such as Adobe's PDF format, and others supported by independent and open-source programmers. Multiple readers naturally followed multiple formats, most of them specializing in only one format, and thereby fragmenting the e-book market even more. Due to exclusiveness and limited readerships of e-books, the fractured market of independents and specialty authors lacked consensus regarding a standard for packaging and selling e-books. E-books continued to gain in their own underground markets. Many e-book publishers began distributing books that were in the public domain. At the same time, authors with books that were not accepted by publishers offered their works online so they could be seen by others. Unofficial (and occasionally unauthorized) catalogs of books became available over the web, and sites devoted to e-books began disseminating information about e-books to the public. Most e-book publishers do not warn their customers about the possible implications of the digital rights management tied to their products. Generally they claim that digital rights management is meant to prevent copying of the e-book.
However in many cases it is also possible that digital rights management will result in the complete denial of access by the purchaser to the e-book.E-book publishing as an industry is growing in the double digits yearly, according to the quarterly reports put out by IDPF. Among the first Internet-only publishers of new e-books were Boson Books, Hard Shell Word Factory and Online Originals, all founded in the mid-1990s? Each pioneered different aspects of what has since become common practice amongst e-book publishers, e.g. the support of multiple formats including PDFs, the payment of much higher royalty rates than conventional publishers, and the online presentation of free samples. For more details you can login to www.ebook-marketing-exposed.com. Hard Shell Word Factory set the first professional standards for commercial e-books and pioneered author-friendly contracts. Online Originals was the first e-book publisher to win mainstream book reviews (in The Times) and a nomination for a major literary prize (the Booker Prize).
Since the late 1990s, the many newcomers to e-book publishing have included most major print publishers. At the same time, many established e-publishers started to offer print versions of some of their titles. Thus the line between the two is fast blurring.

QUESTION:
Does this book marketing plan need improvement or does it sound good?
My novel is aimed at readers ages eleven through seventeen years old; although I’m predicting it will be most attracted to the younger side at ages eleven to thirteen since the protagonist is twelve to thirteen years old. The readers between the ages of fourteen and seventeen might buy the book if they can easily relate to the protagonist and her life as well as the readers at ages eleven and thirteen could. What is unique about my book is that it may be about a protagonist a little young for a young adult audience, but a lot of the content is intense and emotional, which is very common in young adult stories. I’m also predicting that most of my readers will be girls.
I saw on the internet that there are a lot of new fantasy books by popular authors such as Steven Erikson. However, the audience of his books is not middle school and high school age girls. A fantasy book aimed at the same audience as mine is Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George, another popular author. Therefore, I can tell that the fantasy book competition is tough.
My goal is to sell at least two-hundred copies in the first year. I have many ideas for marketing and promoting my book. One is to put up promoting videos on Youtube, Blogspot, and other websites that will help promote my book. The second is to create a website for me as well as my book and add it to search engines such as Yahoo and Google as well as my book. The third is to arrange online, newspaper, and radio interviews. The fourth is to create blogs about my book and perhaps comment on other people’s blogs if they are based on their books. Another plan is to have other people I know read my book and post reviews online. The final plan is to write a press release and distribute it.
There are a few ways I will reach my target audience. One is to hold a book signing in my community at a small library or independent bookstore. My plan is to put up flyers around my community that contain my book cover and the information about the signings. Another idea is to do a talk and discussion at my local library. The final idea is to start a book club where I would meet with readers monthly, and discuss my book; maybe turn it into a podcast.-
ANSWER:
It won't work. It all sounds very credible and energetic, but it won't work. I'm sorry. I know this isn't the answer you want. I wish I could give you a different one.How do I know? I've been working in publishing for decades. I've been helping teach workshops for aspiring writers since 1998. And since the early 90s, I've been associated with an informal group of industry professionals who publicize scams aimed at newbie writers. So yeah, I do know what I'm talking about.
Ever notice how many of the "authorities" on self-publishing and self-promotion have written books about how to publish and promote your own books, which they'll happily sell you? That's an old piece of flimflam: selling insider information on how to do something lucrative or desirable -- work at home, get out of paying taxes, make big bucks on foreclosed real estate, become a successful self-published author. By the time you figure out that their advice doesn't work, they're out of reach, and you've lost all the time and money you put into trying to make it work.
There are "recognized authorities" out there selling books about how you can make your book an infallible bestseller, when they've never been published anywhere but at Xlibris. It's a weird world. And don't even get me started on the companies that offer to "help you get published." They're not your friends, to put it mildly. The only honest ones are Booklocker and Lulu.com, which promise to manufacture bound copies of your books, and leave it at that.
Your average self-promoting self-published author sells between 70 and 75 copies total. Most of them put out an unreasonable amount of effort just to sell that many. It's quite common for them to wind up spending several times as much money as they make. An even sadder statistic is that a year or two or three down the road, most of them have given up writing.
Let's test your marketing plan: How often have you bought books by people you've never heard of because they put up a video on YouTube, started a website or blog, sent out press releases, posted flyers, had their friends post reviews on Amazon, or held a book signing at your local library or mall? How many books have your friends or relatives bought that way? I'm betting the answer is "none." If neither you nor anyone you know buys books on that basis, why should you think other people are going to buy yours?
Self-published books don't get reviewed by real publications, and their authors don't get interviewed by the commercial media. No one comes to their book signings or discussions, or listens to their podcasts. If you live in a small town, your small-town newspaper will run a story headlined "local person publishes book," but they'll do it in the same spirit in which they'd run a story headlined "local person builds model of White House out of popsicle sticks." As for having your friends post reviews, readers can spot those a lot more readily than you imagine. They get plenty of practice, since most self-promoting writers try it.
What you should do instead: Keep writing. Send your books out to conventional publishing houses. While you're waiting for them to come back, write some more. The only way you can ever get anywhere as a writer is to write books people want to buy and read. If you can do that, you don't have to self-publish and self-promote, because paying publishers will come knocking at your door. If you can't do that, no scheme in the world is going to make you a success, because you can't force people to read books they don't want.
You don't have to take my word on it. Go to this forum, post the same thing you posted here, and see what they say. Don't worry -- they're nice people, and they know their stuff. http://absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=22
Here's a semi-FAQ one of them has written. I particularly recommend message #45. http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58205

QUESTION:
Utilizing the capabilities of the World Wide Web?
I have a book that is receiving tremendous accolades. With the goal of reacing the masses, I have been given advice regarding book promotion by people within the industry. But to really catch fire, I feel that somebody who knows and understands the inner workings of the Internet and marketing within that medium is what I truly need. I would love to find someone who has that skill set and could help me to work my book into the public eye online. I am willing to share in the subsequent successes. My book has been featured prominantly in written publications and websites, with very positive and glowing reviews. I just feel that a 'young gun' who knows how to execute an Internet marketing campaign could exlode my book into the next stratosphere. It is absolutely loved by those lucky enough to know about it, but the trick to competing with the big publishing houses is to find a way to reach people without loads of cash. Can anyone help?-

How many times have you caught yourself jumping from site to site looking for the information that you needed, and wanting more?
The internet is a vast virtual library of information, and just like a library has many books, the internet has many websites. Imagine yourself in a library and finding a book that had everything you were looking for all in that one book. Tough to imagine right? The same problem has been present on the internet. All the information you are looking for is out there, and before now, it was scattered among the millions of websites.
Now you can come to AnglersResource.org and find all the information that you need to be a successful angler. No more jumping from website to website to find all the information that you need. From California to New York, fishermen can come to AnglersResource.org and get the most up-to-date information on the internet.
AnglersResource.org is the original all inclusive fishing resource guide. Other websites have come out since the launch of AnglersResource.org in November of 2007, however none capture the essence of connecting with the fishing community as we do. Our main goal is to provide the fishing world with a FREE service that has revolutionized the net effect on fishing. The reason why we are able to get all of this information, is because we do the research for you. We go out to all the different sources of information and gather everything fishermen need all to one website - AnglersResource.org. We go out on location to film video tips that cover the most asked questions in the industry. Our members also provide crucial up-to-date reports, product reviews, tips, and vast amounts of first-hand information from all over the world. The fishing products that we get from our sponsors, we give away ever month for free just to say thank you for using the website.
Our goal is to take average fishermen, and teach them how to hone in their skills to advance them to the next level of fishing. This rule applies to all levels of fishermen, from beginners to experts. We have information that will advance any level fishermen to their own next level. You can even talk directly to Professional Fishermen to get the answers to the your fishing questions. You will even see them giving their own tips and tactics to members throughout the website.
AnglersResource.org has appeared on Fishing TV show Hooked On Fishin’ with Mark Goines, and is due to appear on Charlie Ingram’s Fishing University in 2009. We have traveled to the 2008 BassMaster Classic, 2008 ICAST show, and many other fishing events to get you the most up-to-date information on the internet. We are here to work for you to get you everything that you need to advance yourself to the next level of fishing.
We have a unique sponsorship program for the average tournament angler. We now give dozens of starting tournament anglers the opportunity for sponsorship. With our sponsorship program an angler is able to get their name out on the market, as well as hone in on their marketing skills. Any tournament angler will tell you that before you can get sponsorship you must learn how to market yourself. How can you sell your sponsors ideas, if you cannot even sell yourself? We work with our field staff in order to build their fishing resume and to empower themselves to launch their own fishing careers.
So take a few minutes to look around, see how we can take you to the next level, and I will see you out on the water!
what do yout hink?
lol thanks but this is not an advertisement.. DO NOT feel like you have to go see the site.. I just want feedback on the statement
So maybe I should summerize it and put the whole thing on the about us section? This way gets them interested but wanting more...-
ANSWER:
Much too long. Cut it to a single paragraph, 3-4 sentences, maybe with some 3-5 word bullet points beneath. Save the details ( media coverage, big names, sponsorship) for those sections of the website. Most people who surf the web who don't have the patience to be "jumping from site to site looking for the information" also don't have the patience to read a 600-word "mission statement".

ANSWER:
~Yes, I could. In fact, I did. Your first one was in simply inquiring as to my ability rather than to ask for my help or a critique of the prose.Language is a precise tool. Learn to use it precisely.
If MJ truly is a teacher, which I doubt, and teaches any subject that requires application of the rules of grammar, one can only hope she has not been granted tenure and her writing ability is reviewed and is part of the criteria upon which continued employment will rely. If my children attended a school in which she was employed, and if my complaints to the school board and administration went unheeded, I would withdraw them and enroll them in private schools or I would home teach them. Someone save us from such incompetence. I'll leave the ethical issues out of it for now.
On the other hand, if MJ was trying as hard as I was to help you with your homework (by doing it for you), then MJ, I apologize - but the commentary on your prose stands. I don't understand why you did the cut and paste, however.

QUESTION:
Self Publishing Help?
I'm not sure who experienced success with Self Publishing. But all the stuff I read on the internet talks about the bad with Self Publishing. No one ever talk about their successes or anything. I can understand that, no one wants to take the time to brag online. But I'm in a decision to self publishing and I belive I narrowed it down to 2 options.Yorkshire Publishing based in Oklahoma. They ask for 00 deposit with %50 of the profit goes to the author. They do all the marketing and distributing. And they'll refund your deposit if your book sells more than 5,000 copies. Then they'll print additonal copies with no further investment from the author. They don't promise or guaranty anything. Does anyone know about Yorkshire and have they used them before?
The second company is Ecko House Publishing www.eckohousepublishing.com. Another self publishing company but I am not able to find reviews on them. Not sure if they're new to the game or what. Has anyone used them before?
If anyone has successfully self published which company did you use? Thank you
-
ANSWER:
Self publishing in my mind, means you do the work of a publisher yourself. This means you should not be paying anyone such fees to do it for you. Vanity presses make their money by producing books for you, not by producing books for the public. Unless you really know the ropes, it's very likely you will part with your money and find yourself sitting on an inventory of unsold books. If you wish to self publish, consider learning to do the work yourself. Do a market analysis, figure out how you will sell and distribute your books, learn how to do layout and figure out how to get your book edited at a reasonable price. Make sure it's a good product. Make sure you can offer it at a competitive price. As with any product, don't go into production until you have these things figured out.

Any HR person reading your Objective will not read past it. The phrase "further my career" means it gets filed in the trash!!!
All this objective says is what can you do for me.
Companies do NOT want to know what they can do for you. They want to know what you can do for them.Second -
I think you could do well in an advertising agency - you have advertising, management, computer & graphic design skills - all necessary in the advertising world.Third - making the resume better
Be specific about what computer applications you know - do not just say "variety of computer applications".Separate out the different types of skills -
database & computer skills,
library skills,
customer service skills,
advertising skills.
Makes it easier to see.And its not necessary to put ALL your skills into every resume. You have enough here to pick & choose what you put in. You must PERSONALISE each resume for each application.
There is no such thing as a general resume - and this is a very general resume. That means you are not trying hard enough, and tells the company that if you cannot be bothered to do a good job with the resume, then you probably wont do a good job if they hired you.
Let me see if I can rework this resume for you.
Here you go.EDITED RESUME
I changed this from chronological format - which is what you have - to a functional formet which I prefer. You'll need to redo your objective.
Dont include the university education if you didnt actually graduate. It just tells the employer that you cant finish what you started.
I removed the library skills because they are not really relevant unless you are looking for a library or a legal research job. (And for those you need either an MLS or a paralegal certificate).QUALIFICATIONS

QUESTION:
ASAP !!! please help me with my question?
Laura Etheridge and Rita O’Donnell, the CEO and Creative Director of Clean Clothes (a Texas based lesbian women’s clothing line) brainstormed together and came up with a tagline for their new slacks line: “Masculine Attitude, Feminine Fit.” They market the product on YouTube, Twitter, and Face Book showcasing their “Funky Femme” slacks collection, made from a material which resembles alpaca wool, but is actually organic cotton. To further the advertising impact, the team uses an Ellen DeGeneres look-alike in the YouTube video, where the model does the “Ellen dance” – and mouths “love the pants” as she points to her legs and then walks off leading an Alpaca by a halter. Within months, the slacks are a huge hit in the lesbian community. Clean Clothes sends a letter to their attorney asking him to trademark their tagline, and move forward without another thought about it.
Meanwhile, Men2Wimmin, a French company with a branch in New York, has established a huge following in the gay and cross-dressing community. It has used the tagline “Feminine Attitude, Masculine Fit” for many years to advertise their drag queen dress collection for men on billboards, the internet and television.
Ellen DeGeneres learns that her likeness is being used to advertise for Clean Clothes. She watches the ad and is incensed. She spends the next week on her show bashing the Clean Clothes company, and states that she would never endorse the use of Alpaca wool for clothing, as she feels shearing them is cruel. (She doesn’t catch that the pants are really made from cotton.) Further, she says she feels that lesbian women should not need to shop at special stores, although she admits she often shops in the men’s department at Joseph A. Bank (JOSB). Her comments cause a precipitous drop in sales at both Joseph A. Bank (JOSB) and Clean Clothes.Question
It is discovered that two weeks before the Ellen show, her partner had sold million in JOSB stock (at a gain of about ,200) and had also authorized a purchase of “put options” on JOSB the morning after Ellen’s show, on which she made another 0,000 in the next week. The swing in the price was not 100% directly tied to Ellen’s comments and Ellen’s partner’s previous trading activity shows that she made it a normal practice to “vigorously trade” the stock of any company with which Ellen did business. A review of her trading activity for the past year showed that she had bought and sold JOSB stock 25 different times, including both call and put orders, as well as some short sales. Do you think the SEC will file anything against Ellen or her partner for these sales of JOSB? Is there any cause to do so? Analyze the transactions with respect to insider trading activity (based on what you know) – and whether Ellen or her partner should be concerned. Is the prior trading activity a defense? Analyze and explain fully-

ANSWER:
You know, I am thinking that you are overqualified for a clerk receptionist position. You probably need to look for jobs that better align with your qualifications.Your resume is OK. Cut down on your list of personal qualities in your letter of inquiry. Leave out most of them and concentrate on the ones that match the job duties.
Also, Have your transcripts translated by a accredited institution.
This is not the best time to be looking for a job in the US because of the financial crisis. Unless they know you personally, employers are going to hire an American first. You may want to enroll in an American University so that you can get some letters of reference from an American source.
You may want to go to some companies so that people can meet you when you apply. Personal contact is very important here. Also, go to a university or community college and look on their job board at the career planning and placement office. They have some good leads.
Craig's list is not a very good place to find a job. Try Monster instead. Look in you local newspaper, go to the unemployment office or the Sunday classified ads in the local newspaper.
You will have much better luck looking for a job in the Northeast or on the West Coast because foreigners are more readily accepted there. In the South and Midwest, people tend to be suspicious of people with a foreign accent.

QUESTION:
What kind of violation is this.?
Hi I have a simple but little tricky question.
I believe there are three ways to purchase a house.
1.Pay cash - If you are a millionaire..
2.Hire Mortgage Broker - They will contact with Wholesale Lender
3.Contact with Bank directly - Bank has it's own Loan Officer.
*If someone doesn't tell the difference between mortgage broker and loan officer, go to yahoo and search "mortgage broker vs. loan officer" .
Here is my story.
Year 2004 I met Mr.Kim who was a mortgage broker. He always tell others that if someone wants to buy a house, they have to hire a mortgage broker to process their loan(He was acting that option #3 does not exist. That way he could get more jobs to sell.). *Someone might say "Why did you trust the mortgage broker? You are stupid..." You will be surprised to know how so many people have no knowledge about these whatsoever.
Anyway I trusted him and year 2005 I purchased my first house.
I filled out loan application and prepared all the documents which was prepared by Mr.Kim. The loan was approved: both first and second lender was major Banks. Exactly 2months later, I received a check book by XX (also major bank) bank. I asked my mortgage broker about this and he said that this was a home equity line of credit by XX bank (3rd mortgage): it was issued based on the current value of my property (there's no loan application and no appraisal report..ect.) and my excellent credit. I had no doubt about this at that time (because it was issued from a major bank) and I used the money for home improvement. My mortgage broker, Kim was sentenced for financial fraud for other cases(currently he is in federal prison)
In the mean time, my mortgage payment was increased dramatically because it was a MTA program which I had no idea what that was at that time... My monthly payment doubled after 2 years and I had reached a point where I could not make all three mortgage payment including the 3rd mortgage. As the real estate market crashed, the value of my house dropped greatly and I could no longer able to make payment. I knew something was not right. I heard about Mortgage Audit from internet one day and decided to do that. I requested all the documents (including original loan applications..) from the all three lenders.
I was surprised to see that there were loan officer's name which I had no idea because I had never met any loan officers. Not only that but also the information on the loan application had wrong information which was prepared by mortgage broker?? or the loan officer??
Since the lender was not a whole sale lender, I had learned that the loan officer from the lender must meet with the borrower directly(Patriot Act?).
What do you think about this whole loan process? I want to know how big crime it is when the loan officer never contacted the borrower and accept all the documents from the mortgage broker and approve the loan despite of all the wrong information on the loan documents??
* Some of you might say, "You signed the documents at the settlement and it is your responsibility"
However both the mortgage broker and the title agent are currently imprisoned. During the settlement, it is almost impossible to review every single document and sign them. I had to trust whatever I sign because it was conducted by title lawyer. Who would not trust "LAWYER" ?? DO YOU THINK LENDER GAVE US A MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE CHARITY WORKERS?-
ANSWER:
Your question gave me a headache.I would suggest strongly that you contact an attorney that specializes in real estate.
To me it sounds like you may have a case based on fraud, simply on the basis that your broker seemed to have filled out and filed papers on your behalf with out your approval.
Good luck.

ANSWER:
Charity workers? I doubt it. Greed is more like it.Sounds like you're reaching out for validation since only attorneys are qualified to give advice in your situation. Unfortunately, you are among the countless of others victimized by the unethical practices of predatory lending. Thankfully, some of those involved in your transaction are getting their just due now in prison. Sadly, too many others guilty of the same predatory lending practices are still amongst us. The travesty is their "crime" has resulted in this financial crisis ALL of us are now experiencing.
If you're wondering what now to do, accept your situation, confront it head on and deal with it through those now servicing your loan. On the upside, the nation is sympathetic to those like yourself especially if your loan(s) is with one of those who've received bailout assistance. They are expected to work with you. Suggest a no-cost refinance at their lowest interest rate. If the payment(s) is(are) still too high at the lowest rate, request a longer amortization schedule, for example a 40-yr loan.
Your anger is understandable, however, get past it and get help. I sincerely hope help comes to you quickly.

DO YOU THINK LENDER GAVE US A MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE CHARITY WORKERS?-
ANSWER:
You may find it impossible to read everything before you sign it, but it is not impossble. I have done it several times. We take a break of an hour or so and I read every word. If you sign stuff blindly, the conclusion is that the terms don't matter to you and you would have signed it regardless of the terms.

ANSWER:
Let me start off by saying, I work in a career center, I see resumes all the time and i hear from employers what they want in resumes and what they look at. That said these are my recommendations.Your resume is waaaaaay too long, it should be one page MAX. I hear employers who say they THROW AWAY resumes longer than 1 page; they don't even look at them.
Your objective is way too long; it should be one to two sentences. Also, it is innapropriate to make salary demands in your cover letter. This should explain who you are and why you are applying to the position and anything else that your resume doesn't say.
Don't put in the bartending job, it looks like you didnt have it very long. Don't start with your skills section, end with that and dont put any skills in there that you mention when summing up your job duties, no need to put it in there twice.
Don't put the salary you received in those positions. If the employer wants to know, they will ask.
Finally, you have a couple spelling/grammar mistakes as well.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. LA area is one of THE HARDEST places in the nation to find a job right now. To say the job market is hard now is an understatement. It's an employers market right now, by which I mean employers get hundreds of applicants for one job. You need to be better than all of them to get a job. Consider taking classes right now if you can, if only to add it to your resume and say you are working on new skills.

Internet Marketing Blogspot
Internet marketing is a new innovative way to promote your products or services through Internet. It is also referred to as I-marketing, web marketing, online marketing, or marketing. In simple term Online Marketing is the marketing of products, or, services over the 00004000 Internet. The Internet has brought many unique benefits to marketing, one of which being lower costs and greater capabilities for the distribution of information and media to a global audience. The interactive nature of online marketing, both, in terms of providing instant response and eliciting responses, is a unique quality of the medium. Web marketing is sometimes considered to have a broader scope because not only it refers to digital media, such as, the Internet, e-mail, and, wireless media, but also includes management of digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management (ECRM) systems.
Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet including, design, development, advertising, and, sale. Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along different stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), banner ads on specific websites, e-mail marketing, and Web 2.0 strategies.
Advertising - An Art of Selling Products
Types or Business models of Online Marketing
Internet marketing is associated with several business models like -
* E-Commerce
Goods are sold directly to consumers (B2C) or businesses (B2B) in Online.
* Publishing
The sale of advertising through the website or blogs in the internet.
* Lead-based websites
An organization generates value by acquiring sales leads from its website in the internet.
* Affiliate marketing
A process in which a product or service developed by one person is sold by other active seller for a share of profits. The owner of the product normally provide some marketing material.
* One-to-one approach
The targeted user is typically browsing the Internet alone, so the marketing messages can reach them personally. This approach is used in search marketing, where the advertisements are based on search engine keywords entered by the user.
* Appeal to specific interests
"On- and Off-line" marketers typically segment their markets according to age group, gender, geography, and other general factors. Marketers have the luxury of targeting by activity and geolocation. For example, a kayak company can post advertisements on kayaking and canoing websites with the full knowledge that the audience has a related interest.
* Geo targeting
Geo targeting (in internet marketing) and geo marketing are the methods of determining the geolocation (the physical location) of a website visitor with geolocation software, and delivering different content to that visitor based on his or her location, such as country, region/state, city, metro code/zip code, organization, Internet Protocol (IP) address, ISP or other criteria.
Accounting Means Financial Statements
* Different content by choice
A typical example for different content by choice in geo targeting is the FedEx website at FedEx.com where users have the choice to select their country location first and are then presented with different site or article content depending on their selection.
* Automated different content
With automated different content in internet marketing and geomarketing the delivery of different content based on the geographical geolocation and other personal information is automated.

2- Can you make about as much as a part time job? I have a confusing schedule with divorced parents so affiliate marketing is the best option for me to have a type of "job" i understand it probably won't make as much but, i'm hoping it comes to about as much as a part time job...

ANSWER:
I don't know the regulations in your country for these things. And by no means what I'm saying should be taken as advice before consulting the term and conditions and etc. (this is starting to sound like a disclaimer... hahahaha) But I have never had anyone in the internet ask my age.If you want to learn all the skills to become a true affiliate marketer, here is where I learned it:
http://www.profitlancebonus.com/It will take a while and a bit of work. But everyone I know that tried it has been successful. Plus it's better than a job because it teaches you long term skills about making money. You learn to become your own boss and work your own times.
You can use blogspot for affiliate marketing. But I suggest you get your own domain instead - from a credibility point of view, I think people are less likely to buy from a blogspot and more likely to buy from a domain.

In your case what i would recommend is to get fast traffic. You will see the results of fast traffic at no time. Some of the low priced advertising places are daceband.com
They offer 10,000 unique visitors for . If you get that, there is high chance that at least 200 people will be interested on your website since daceband is social networking website. It will boost your alexa rank and you will start seeing your website at compete.com
In order to boost your sells you have to invest little money.

QUESTION:
make money using paypal - is this legal?
Has anyone seen these postings:How to Make Money using Paypal?
EARN EXTRA MONEY IN PAYPAL AS SEEN ON OPRAH AND 20/20
I did some research and found that PayPal does not allow pyramid schemes or chain letters. However, they do allow merchants to sell products online and collect the money. With that in mind, it is very easy to convert this make money using paypal idea into a legitimate cash generating e-business. The method is basically the same, only now you will be running an internet publishing clearing house and utilizing viral marketing.
My question is, after review the business plan laid out in ths blog posting, is THIS Legal:
http://money-wealth-investing.blogspot.com
How it works:1) Buy each of the reports below. (This is the important step that makes this system 100% legal!) You will be automatically redirected to the reports upon payment.
2) Upload these reports to your web server. (A free host will work fine!)
3) Go into your paypal account, under merchant services, and follow the instructions to create a “buy it now” button. Make sure you choose not to encrypt the link and choose add other options. This will give you a “buy it now link” for e-mail.
4) Copy and edit this report. Replace the link in report #1 with your own and move others down one spot, removing the final link.Post this edited copy in at least 200 news groups, forums, etc. Anywhere they are talking about making money online.

IF A 15 YEAR OLD BOY COULD MAKE ,000 IN JUST 5 WEEKS AND OTHERS 0,000 IN A FEW MORE WEEKS -- SO CAN YOU !!!
Would you like to make ,000 OR 0,000 in a few weeks?
As seen on the Oprah Winfrey show and ABC's 20/20======================================...
The true story that has everyone talking:
Parents of a 15yr old boy find ,000 in his closet:You may have seen this story featured on a number of major news programs (United States), and reported elsewhere around the world.
His mother was doing some cleaning and putting some laundry away when she discovered a large brown paper bag that was suspiciously
buried beneath some clothes and a skateboard in the back of her 15-year-old sons closet.Nothing could have prepared her for the shock she got when she opened the bag and found that it was full of dollar bills -- ,000 to be precise!!
"My first thought was that he had robbed a bank", says the 41-year-old woman, "There was over ,000 in that bag,
that's more than my husband earns in a year".
The woman immediately called her husband at the car-dealership where he worked to tell him what she had discovered.
He came home right away and together they drove to the boys school and picked him up.
Little did they suspect that where the bills were coming from was going to be a bigger surprise than actually finding them in the closet. As it turns out, the boy had been sending out, via E-mail, a type of "Report" to other E-mail addresses that he obtained off the Internet.
Everyday after school for the past 2 months, he had been doing this on his computer in his bedroom.
"I just got an E-mail one day and I figured what the heck, I put my name on it like the instructions said and I started sending it out", says the 15-year-old.The E-mail letter he received had 5 names and addresses listed on it and contained instructions on how to send one dollar bill to each person on the list.
Then delete the name and address at the bottom of the list (Report # 5) and move the other 4 names and addresses down one step,
finally adding your own name and address to the top of the list (Report # 1).The letter goes on to state that you would receive several thousand dollars in five-dollar bills within 2 weeks
if you sent out the letter with your name and address at the top of the 5-address list."I get junk E-mail all the time, and really did not think it was going to work", the boy continues.
Within the first few days of sending out the E-mail,
the Post Office Box that his parents had gotten him for his video-game magazine subscriptions began to fill up
not with magazines, but envelopes containing bills."About a week later I rode my bike down to the post office and my
Post Office Box had 1 magazine and about 300 envelopes stuffed in it."Over the next few weeks, the boy continued sending out the E-mail.
"The five dollar bills just kept coming in and I just kept sorting them and stashing them in the closet,
I barely had time for my homework". He had also been riding his bike to several of the banks in his area
and exchanging the bills for twenties, fifties and hundreds."I didn't want the banks to get suspicious so I kept riding to different banks with like five thousand at a time in my backpack.
I would usually tell the lady at the bank counter that my dad had sent me in to exchange the bills and he was outside waiting for me.

QUESTION:
Very sick SEO practice.?
Hello everyone it’s Arman again. Hope everyone is fine. It looks like you are a little curious about title of my post. By the way I’m from Bangladesh and I love my country a lot. And of course it’s people too but not everyone. Especially those corrupted peoples. Now get to the main point. Our country has started developing a lot. Our technology is moving very fast. We have learned how to develop a HTML site, Then dynamic PHP site, Then frame-work based sites, Online marketing, SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) and most of all SPAM !!
And some of those SPAMMERS are involved in our govt. agencies too. They know a little about SEO or maybe a lot. But they probably forgot that Bangladesh has a respectful law system that is very strict against corruption and anti-law works.
Those SPAMMERS know a simple but odd myth about SEO. That’s a .GOV ( Dot Gov ) or .EDU ( Dot Edu ) domain is a great advantage for SEO. Maybe they are because those sites have good reputation ( Google PageRank, AlexaRank ) and low out-bound links. So these sites really improve SEO. But those sites shouldn’t be used for SPAM or Bad-Linking. A site containing a Bad-Link can penalize or blacklist a site in Search Engines very fast. As we can see WWW-Dot-DPE-Dot-GOV-Dot-BD ( Department Of Primary Education Bangladesh ).
www - dpe - gov - bd is blacklisted by Google
Next story is a Back-Link factor.
I was searching some of Bangladeshi Govt. sites. I have found lot’s of weird linking in our reputed Govt. sites. These sites are managed by govt. employees or some hired company. These sites are not editable. Maybe some blog type sites have comment system, but most of sites are on static HTML page. So it’s not possible for someone outside to edit those Static HTML pages. That means those SPAM links are inserted by someone who manage these sites.
Result of SEO SPAM
Scrolled Down
Hidden Links In White Area
SPAM Links In Source Code
After adding those links to a GOV site, It start decreasing it’s Ranking in search engine and sometime it got to suspect list by many security system such as Internet-Security software’s.
As "Right to Information Act, 2009 [ Bangladesh ]" we are eligible to know about the fact of Adding Bad-Links in these important Govt. sites. So let's ask them, why they are adding those links in our Govt. sites.
To prevent those bad SEO practice we should report those corrupted people to law-enforcement agencies. And send them to Jail as soon as possible. It's not possible to post full article because DP only supports 4 image per post. By the way if you wanna read full article anyway then visit.

QUESTION:
Advertising on a WordPress Blog?
I recently became aware that you are not allowed to advertise or have affiliates in any way while using a blog at wordpress.com. I have searched the internet over for a question that no one has been able to answer so far. That question is:If you use a host that you pay for, to host your blog- like godaddy or something, will wordpress still nuke you? I need to know this because I am dissatisfied using blogspot.com where my blog is currently at. I used to use WP but now want to switch back- but I don't want to sacrifice my affiliates or advertising because I am using my blog for e-commerce and affiliate marketing purposes.
WordPress states, "Adsense, Yahoo, Chitika, TextLinkAds and other ads are not permitted on WordPress.com blogs*. If you would like to run ads on your blog, please look into running your own copy of WordPress with one of our hosting partners."
^Does this mean that you can just set up a host and grab your own domain and they wont nuke you?
Any help would be great, and I really appreciate it.

Internet Marketing Blogs WordPress
WordPress is an opensource content management system which was initially released as a blog tool. It was first released on May 2003, but after 8 years of its first release, it is now traveled a long way and from just CMS for Blog now wordpress is used by around 14% of the biggest websites. The reason behind such a rapid growth is amazing features of WordPress, it is one of the easiest CMS available today. Let's talk about the reasons why WordPress is considered as a future of Internet.
Easy to use WordPress as a full-on CMS: As mentioned earlier also. It is one of the easiest CMS available; any one can create an appealing websites through WordPress web development. It's not only easy to learn but also very easy to configure it, and with all the available plugins and widgets you can create a website which is not only good looking but also functional.
Millions of people seek information from WordPress sites every day. WordPress blogs are very popular. According to Quantcast, "around 200 million people visit one or more WordPress.com blogs every month, and they view over a billion pages on those blogs.
Install WordPress on your own web hosting services. You can not only install it on your server but also you can have full control on domain and content.
Internet Marketing Blogs Traffic
One of the biggest challenges faces marketers today is generating internet marketing traffic. Although it may seem difficult there is a few things to keep in mind that will allow you to generate all the traffic you'll every need. I will share with you a few points to remember.
Pay Per Click
Pay per click is still the best and fastest way to generate internet marketing traffic and make sales. Although the rules have changed and you must do things differently, this method is still very powerful. You can pick up a course on PPC and get familiar with all the new rules and changes in order to use it more effectively. This is also powerful to find out what keywords are the best for your niche and will allow you to do SEO as well.
Search Engine Optimization
SEO is THE most powerful way to generate not only a ton of internet marketing traffic, but endless leads as well. The trick is to create multiple niche blogs. Chose a keyword that describes your niche, then build a blog with wordpress around that keyword. WordPress blogs seem to get indexed quick. I've seen some of mine get indexed in as little as a few days. The great thing about wordpress is the plug ins you can install to get your blog optimized.
Articles And Press Releases
Articles and press releases are still a very powerful way to generate a steady flow of internet marketing traffic and leads. The points to remember are; choosing the right keywords, using the keyword within the article/release without stuffing it, and keeping it at least within 500 words. Seems like Google really favors articles with at least 500 words. Press releases should not be any more than 200 words. I found better results with press releases vs. articles. But test them both out to see what works best for you.
Forum Marketing
Forum marketing is also a very powerful way to generate internet marketing traffic. The key to remember is providing value to the forum members. For example if someone has a question that has to do with your niche, then post an answer and a solution for them. What forums allow you to do is post a link within your signature. This is where you insert your call to action and send people to your site or sales page. Forum marketing is a great way to establish yourself as a knowledgeable person and a leader.
This wraps it up for today ladies and gentlemen. Go out and apply all of the above methods and see what works best for you to generate internet marketing traffic. Hope you enjoyed and if you found this article helpful please leave a comment below!
Until next time!

QUESTION:
Internet marketing question?
My first time using Y!Answers so here goes:I would like to know where i could find data, statistics about how implementation of various features in a website affects its traffic and bounce rate.
More detailed: i would like to know what is , on average, the potential gain in traffic of an online shopping web site for certain implemented features: polls, quizzes, personal blogs.
Thank you.
-
ANSWER:
I highly recommend Marketing Sherpa; http://www.marketingsherpa.com/They have very useful statistics and metric data on what you’re looking for. My suggestions is that you simply start implementing the features you mentioned one by one and measure them with web analytics. Statistics are useful, and should be used as a general guideline. Online shopping is a very unique beast; every industry, every niche and even categories within niches, will always present quite different behaviors and performances, which are highly influenced by demographics, seasonality and other metrics.
At our agency, we are constantly optimizing our client’s websites beyond search. Conversion optimization is a key factor when it comes to shopping websites. Polls, quizzes, blogs, reviews, testimonials, etc, all play a role in it, but don’t always apply to every site.
Make this part of your interactive marketing efforts and you’ll be successful.

QUESTION:
Writers: Marketing your book-traditional or newer methods? (+BQ)?
So, I've been talking with my hubby about this interesting way to market our novels online and I was wondering if you guys plan to create new ways to market your books or if you'll use some traditional methods. The problem non-published writers have is that they have no platform (visibility/reputation of author), for the publishers to work with since they've never been published. So publishers often turn down new writers b/c they don't have a pre-established platform. It's sort of a catch 22 b/c you need a reputation to get published but your reputation as a writer typically comes AFTER being published.
Anyway, the typical forms of marketing (which have irregular results per author/case), are:
A) book signings (which usually prove useless to new authors)
B) speaking engagements
C) submitting pre-written interview questions w/ answers to interested news mediums
D)blogs, author/social networking websites (like facebook or other author's sites).
_____________________________________________________________________1)So would you choose any of these traditional methods? Why or why not?
2) If you aren't adept at public speaking engagements and choose internet publicizing, how would you set yourself apart from others? (Don't need to give actual ideas just what you'd do to be different)
3) Have you thought up an innovative way to market your story?
4) Would you market before you published your book so as to build anticipation or wait until after publication (assuming you already had a deal with a publisher)?
BQ: Have you ever owned a pair of polka-dotted undies?
BQ2: Would you eat hairy spider for 0,000 if the venom was removed?
BQ3: Have you ever felt embarrassed licked stamps/envelopes in front of people? lmao
BQ4: How would you react if you saw someone picking their nose in the lane next to you if you were sitting at a traffic light?
@Joss: It's not a myth. Of course there are exceptions to the general rule. Every author will tell you that you won't hit it big, for instance, with your debut novel but there have been rare cases where this has happened. But as it stands, publishers will be far less inclined to publish a writer if they don't have an author platform or aren't capable of marketing their material (some writers refuse-for instance and many amateur writers expect the publisher to do it all). So for fiction it's also important that the writer has begun to establish a name for themselves prior to publishing (by story submissions in magazines, competitions, etc). This is especially true for non-fiction writers, as you said-because they need credentials to be considered "experts" on the topic they're writing about.I just wanted to point out that this isn't false. Expectations may also vary per publisher but don't claim this isn't true because the fact of the matter is that it happens a lot. And the reason i
is due to the fact that the book publishing industry is dwindling due to the economic recession, changes in consumer fads (less people reading), etc. So publishers are now more concerned about risk liability in terms of taking on an unknown/un-established author than they were 40 years ago. But if the new author has a platform established already, they're chances just increased exponentially.-
ANSWER:
1. If you mean how will I market my book after I have a publishing deal, then I will talk to the publisher, which will have a PR plan for the book, and discuss what they intend to do to market and promote the book and what I can do as an author that will complement that. I'd certainly have a website and a blog, and I'd certainly make myself available to speak or do readings at suitable events, among other things.I actually work in media relations, so I draw up PR plans for things and secure media coverage for them every day. But there is absolutely no point in me just randomly going off and promoting my book if that clashes with the PR plan that the publisher already has for it. For example, the suggestion you gave for doing soft features with the media could actually wreck your chances of getting a much better, more in-depth interview in a newspaper or magazine that the publisher's PR officer could have arranged for you. So, if you were going to deal with the media yourself in that way, you would certainly need to talk in some detail with your publisher and their PR officer / marketing exec to be sure that what you were planning would fit around their PR ideas, rather than inadvertently sabotaging them.
If you've self-published, of course, your publisher couldn't give a flying f*** if your book sells or not, because they already have your money, and you won't get the necessary PR/marketing support you'd need to promote your book. Frankly, very few media outlets will even review a self-published book, let alone carry interviews with the author, and very few events or bookshops would ever allow a self-published author to do readings/signings/speaking engagement there, because a self-published author is without credentials. If someone pays to publish their book, all that proves is that they had money in their pocket: that doesn't make them a credible prospect as a guest speaker at an event.
2. Despite being shy, I actually am adept at speaking engagements because it doesn't actually involve having to make conversation one-to-one, so I'd be happy to do them. I would also have a website and so on, though.
3. I have ideas in mind - how could I not, I work in PR! - but see question 1. I'd discuss it with my publisher's PR officer first.
4. Again, I'd discuss this with the publisher's PR officer and agree a strategy with them.
BQ: Yes.
BQ2: Probably not; I'm phobic about them. Maybe if I was allowed to put in a blender with the ingredients for a smoothie I would. There's no way I could just eat it whole.
BQ3: Er... no.
BQ4: I wouldn't react at all. If someone wants to pick their nose in their own car, it's really not affecting me. They can do what they like.

QUESTION:
Making a Pixel Website with a difference?
HiI'm thinking of setting up a pixel site thats different (quirky) for people to put their links on.
I was perhaps going to make it theme based like (http://www.bigbenpixels.co.uk/) and in the shape of a car for car advertisers or
the shape of a house for landlords and letting agencies. (this is just an idea)... or just make it similar to the million dollar page ,
I was also going to try to gain advertisers by saying a cash prize of say 50 to a 100 pounds will be won by one of them at the end of a year period.etcI just wondered if you think this is an ok idea or will people just give it a widebirth and think "hmmm we've seen this before etc"
I was looking through these kinda site the other day and must admit I was nearly tempted to buy some pixels in hope of more exposure to my blogs and websites as they lack in traffic, the pixels were 5 to 10 dollars each witch I thought was a bit costly.
Im trying to think of something new and quirky and other reasons for a site like this is getting linkbacks from people when they advertise and thus making it viral.
just wondered from peoples experience in marketing and the internet if this is a kinda good idea and how to work on it and if it could bring me in any money, if not from the pixel site maybe even from click throughs to my other adsense / affiliate sites.
I am just about to start a classified website and I will have a banner on there for my pixel site too, im thinking if I add banners on my pixel site to blogs and websites with content that has high paying keywords maybe I could get some revenue this way.
Im sure you know lots more clever ideas as a marketer, I'm a web builder but new to adsense and affiliate marketing.
I have just recently made sales through my affiliate blog for the first time which made me smile.
the script I'm thinking of buying for this site is fairly cheap at 20 dollars and I can upload and maintain it myself thats no problem,
its just the marketing that im not great at, I also have adsense accounts and was thinking of having a couple of large banners myself on their with links to my affiliate sitesplease could you give me any advice that you think may be helpful with this project or do you just think that it is not a great idea.
I was even thinkin of calling it 50pads or adpix50p and charching 50p a pixel at the top and maybe have that running for a year then the webmasters re advertise so as to generate more revenue for me, then having pixels at the bottom where people can advertise for free but they link back to my site
oh well, its an idea ive had for a while
I look forward to hearing from you soon hopefully
thanks alot for your time

ANSWER:
bigbenpixels.co.uk was put up in October 2005 and up until now has sold less than 0.001% of the available pixels, so anything similar looks doomed to failure imo.

QUESTION:
Will the Feds Bust Santa Claus?
Will the Feds Bust Santa Claus?by George Getz (former Director of Communications for the Libertarian Party)
When Santa Claus comes to town this week, he'd better watch out -- because the federal government may be making a list of his crimes (and checking it twice), the Libertarian Party warned today.
"Hark the federal agents sing, Santa is guilty of nearly everything," said Libertarian Party press secretary George Getz. "The feds know when Santa's been bad or good -- and he's been bad, for goodness sakes."
Does Santa belong in the slammer? Instead of stuffing stockings, should he be making license plates?
Yes, said Getz, if he's held to the same standards as a typical American. For example:
Every December 25, the illegal immigrant known as Santa Claus crosses the border into the United States without a passport. He carries concealed contraband, which he sneaks into the country in order to avoid inspection by the U.S. Customs Service. And just what's in all those brightly colored packages tied up with ribbons, anyway? The Drug Czar and Homeland Security want to know.
Look at how this international fugitive gets around: Santa flies in a custom-built sleigh that hasn't been approved by the FAA. He never files a flight plan. He has no pilot's license. In the dark of night, he rides the skies with just a tiny bioluminescent red light to guide him -- a clear violation of traffic safety regulations.
Pulling Santa's sleigh: Eight tiny reindeer, a federally protected species being put to hard labor. None of these reindeer have their required shots, and Santa's never bothered to get these genetically- engineered animals registered and licensed. It's no wonder: He keeps them penned outside his workplace in a clear violation of zoning laws.
But Crooked Claus the Conniving Capitalist harms more than just animals -- he's hurting hard-working American laborers, too. Isn't Santa's Workshop really Santa's Sweatshop, where his non-union employees don't make minimum wage and get no holiday pay? Add the fact that OSHA has never inspected the place, and you have a Third-World elf-exploitation operation that only Kathy Lee Gifford could love.
No wonder Santa is able to maintain his monopoly over the toy distribution industry: He's cornered the Christmas gift market. Santa dares to give away his products for free in a sinister attempt to crush all competition -- just like Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Antitrust Lawsuit Memo to the feds: Is Santa Claus the Bill Gates of Christmas?
The bottom line, said Getz: "It might be tough sledding for Jolly St. Nick this Christmas if the government decides to prosecute him.
"We're just surprised it hasn't already happened. After all, Santa Claus is everything that politicians aren't: He's popular, reliable, and gives us something for nothing every December 25th -- instead of taking our money every April 15th," says Getz

Internet Marketing Blogs Seo
Anyone who has a live website or is doing business on the World Wide Web will be well conversant with the variety of internet marketing tools that are so widely used. Each person may choose any of the online marketing tools that suit their personal preference.
But amongst the most effective of all internet marketing tools are the SEO blogs. While these blogs are highly effective, the importance of getting them written according to appropriate SEO standards cannot be over looked at all.
These SEO blogs will add useful content to your site, thereby attracting visitors and holding their attention for comparatively longer time spans. Moreover they also help in getting your site ranked highly by the search engines. Another benefit of using these search engine optimized blogs is that they can pull specific kind of traffic to your site.
What every site owner wants is targeted traffic. These search engine optimized blogs make intelligent use of specific targeted keywords at predetermined density, making the site highly accessible to online users who are searching for that particular keyword in their searches.
The selection of keywords is based on the type of business you are promoting on your site by means of your search engine optimized blogs.
There is no doubt about the fact that content is king in online marketing, so invariably keyword optimized content is king amongst the other internet marketing tools. But it would be foolish to abuse or waste away this power wielded by the SEO blogs.
Many website owners have made the folly of designing their blogs to merely attract the search engines, and have unintentionally ended up ignoring human readers in the process.
Doing this is akin to committing suicide in the world of online marketing. Google has redefined its algorithms and prefers only those sites that offer true value to readers while maintaining optimization techniques for search engines.
So the bottom line is to keep both the search engines and readers equally happy with your SEO blogs.
There is a logical explanation as to why blogs are more valuable in terms of attracting readers and traffic and thereby more helpful in getting your site ranked high. Blogs are usually written with a personal touch and in a conversational tone, making them instantly likeable to readers and they feel it easier to connect to the ideas floated around in the blog.
Also blogs usually have comment boxes, enabling readers to voice their opinions too, making it a two way interactive process. This bestows your business an enormous reputation and permits you to create an association with your readers, and consequently they are more receptive to the idea of buying from you.
